— During the last 3 to 4 days, usage increased up to more than 12 hours; Patient needs mechanical ventilation even when awake
— Decrease in AHI confirms intense usage when awake and reduction of sleep time
— Significant increase in respiratory rate (median) and reduction of variation indicates severe dyspnea
